Anthony Flaccavento & Meredith Dean

Anthony Flaccavento is a farmer in the Appalachian region of Virginia, the author of Building a Healthy Economy from the Bottom Up, and the co-founder and Executive Director of the Rural Urban Bridge Initiative.

Meredith Dean brings forty years experience in Appalachian community and political organizing, higher education, and non-profit management to her present work as the National Director of Community Works, an effort to build trust across cultural and political divides in rural communities.
