Indianapolis homelessness stays flat as unsheltered population falls
Indianapolis Public Media: The number of individuals who were unsheltered in Indianapolis fell by 18% from 2025, when 331 residents were living outside. The number of people living outside had been trending up in Indianapolis following the pandemic.

Rep. Morgan McGarvey calling for release of Louisville ICE detainee with sickle cell anemia
WLKY Louisville: Kentucky Congressman Morgan McGarvey is calling for the release of a Louisville ICE detainee who is suffering from sickle cell anemia. McGarvey’s office says Sarafinah Bukirwa has been in ICE custody since July 22. She is being held at the Grayson County Detention Center.

FedEx adding 500,000 sq. ft. ft. addition at Memphis Hub

Francesca Hong leads Democratic primary for governor once again in new Marquette poll
Wisconsin Public Radio: Of the respondents in Marquette’s newest survey, 38 percent said they’d vote for Hong on August 11. That’s a 12 point jump from last week’s Marquette results, which included Rodriguez.

Northeast Ohio police officer on leave after recent criminal charges
