Carmen Gentile and Jason Motlagh on Sunday, May 16, 2021 in Youngstown, Ohio. Gentile is writing for Postindustrial, and Motlagh is on assignment for Rolling Stone.
It’s been a long, frustrating time since the start of the pandemic.
But now that we’re fully vaccinated, the Postindustrial Team will hit the road to resume telling stories about interesting and inspiring folks and the challenges they continue to face during these still-uncertain times.
Starting this Saturday, Postindustrial is embarking on a weeks-long motorcycle tour of Postindustrial America unlike any other, riding Royal Enfield’s Interceptor and Continental GT 2021
We’ll begin in Pittsburgh, then make our way through Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia, Virginia, and Maryland.
Along the way we’ll talk to people to get a sense of how they’re faring and their hopes for a post-pandemic future. Our team of journalists will write about, photograph, and film these adventures. And we’ll offer daily dispatches from the road.
Be sure to like us on Facebook, and follow us Twitter and Instagram for real-time updates.
