You have to admire the courage of the Indiana Republicans who stood up to Trump, no matter where you line up along the political spectrum.
The majority of Indiana Republican state senators voted with their Democratic colleagues against further gerrymandering state congressional maps ahead of the 2026 midterms, despite enormous pressure from the White House.
Even though Trump said he would primary them and withhold federal funding from their state, they held their ground and did what’s right.
