PreEnact Indy recently reconvened in the Indiana capital to celebrate creators, encourage networking, and spread the word about and appreciation of new art.

Presented by the Harrison Center, which supports the arts and artists in Indiana, PreEnact Indy is a one-of-a-kind immersive, artistic experience.
Held at the historic Polk Stables in Indianapolis, it blurred the lines between an art festival, a business networking event, performance art, and a day at the office.

At its heart, it was a celebration, a chance to come together as neighbors and imagine what the future could be, while harnessing the power of art and networking to turn the ordinary into the visionary.
We kicked off the event with a parade, a beautiful way to celebrate creators and community.
Neighbors ate from food trucks, petted a live cow, and built their networks at an activation fair.
Artists painted along Indianapolis’ Lewis Street, and there were various live music performances throughout the day.

We ended the night with a concert, providing everyone the opportunity to sit with friends and neighbors, eat good food, and experience the power of networking at work in our community.
This year’s theme, “The Art of Networking,” came to life as we partnered with our neighbors around Polk Stables, an immaculately renovated art and coworking space, to make the event possible. We saw the active participation of Provider Coffee, Tinker House, Solely Wine, and Faye Gallery.

We provided space for curiosity: how do we grow in awareness of the resources we already have and build networks that leverage them to their full potential?
As artists, entrepreneurs, neighbors, and culture-makers, we want to take time not only to know our neighbors but also to seek to serve them.
