Have you ever met someone whose modesty is wildly disproportionate to their accomplishments?
That’s Shawn Harris in a nutshell. The Georgia-born cattle rancher who spent 40 years in the military- serving in Afghanistan and reaching the rank of general – is so “aww shucks” about his storied life that one can’t help but implore him to brag a little more.
But that’s just not his style.
Nowadays, Harris is hoping to add “politician” to his impressive resume by taking on none other than GOP firebrand and conspiracy-monger Marjorie Taylor Greene.
Harris says he’s managed to court Republican voters who are tired of MTG’s antics on Capitol Hill and obsequiousness to all things MAGA. He even contends that the more offensive and outrageous Greene is leading up to Election Day, the better his chances are of winning.
And despite the fact that Harris has called out the congresswoman repeatedly to debate him, Greene’s team hasn’t agreed to meet.
