Don’t see you or your community represented in Baltimore’s media? Then welcome to Postindustrial, where we want to give everyone a voice.

Postindustrial is an independent, journalism-first, multimedia outlet covering regions once highly industrialized and efforts to reimagine them for a new era.
We do that by breaking local news, reporting on the city’s thinkers, doers and problem-solvers, and keeping the locals with things to say front and center.
We are looking for columnists, podcast guests, writers, artists, activists and anyone local who wants to contribute to telling the story of this wonderful city that doesn’t get enough love.
Right now we cover a variety of cities that are learning how to thrive in the middle of an America that has often left out the viewpoints of so many people.
From communities of color to those that have seen industrialization come and go, and ones that are right in the middle of urban areas facing serious issues that they can’t seem to get answers to, we are here to help you built a better Baltimore by speaking truth to power.
We want to hear about how you are reinventing or bringing love to your corner of Charm City — and what challenges you face every day that good reporting might be able to fix.

We are honored to be part of one of America’s coolest, toughest towns. Thanks for having us.
