As 2020 comes to a close, a look back through the lens of photographers at all the ways our lives have been transformed

The year 2020 saw Americans endure a viral pandemic, a social justice movement, and a presidential election fraught with misinformation. These events transformed how people interact with each other, upended businesses, and changed the way live in ways that will linger for years to come. In the coming days we’ll share photographs from those moments.
